1. Features

1.1. Improved Usability in Enter Data Screen

Previously, data entered on the Enter Data screen in Performance Management was not saved until the user clicked "Save". This caused data loss if the system was left idle. We wanted to prevent data loss due to a session timeout by providing an autosave feature that automatically saves valid entries.

This enhancement:

• Has an autosave feature that saves KPI data automatically as soon as all required data points are entered.
  Required data points are "KPI Data", "Site UOM", "Conversion Factor" (autopopulated), and "Comments" (in case of Validation Rule).
• Highlights missing required data points as soon as the user moves to the next KPI.
• Recalculates any related derivative KPI data.
• Removes the "Save" button.
• Shows an indication when an autosave is in progress.
• Shows a timestamp of last autosave.
  This timestamp will not be visible if the user refreshes the screen, changes the filter, or comes back to the screen after going to another screen.

1.2. KPI Data Import Access

Prior to 24.1, System Administrators were the only ones able to take advantage of the KPI Data Import tool as it was found in the Module Setup area. We wanted to streamline the process and remove the dependency on Administrators by moving the tool to a more accessible area.

This enhancement:

• Adds an "Import" button to the Enter Data screen.

• Introduces new "KPI Data Import" permissions.
  This permission is assigned to every user who already has the "Report Data" permission for at least one Program.

• Removes the "Import History" button from the Import Detail screen to maintain data security.
  • Users need to contact the System Administrator if they need to see their full Import History.
• Adds "Program Name" column to the Import template in Module Setup to allow Administrators to validate user permissions.
• Allows the tool to validate the user's Location scope and Program permissions for each row, showing a success/failure message for each in the Data Mapping screen.

2. Fixes

• Full comment is displayed when hovering the mouse over Displayed Comment Text.
• Multilingual values display correctly for the "KPI ID" field.
• KPI Widget correct checks for user's "View Program" permissions to display the data.
• Waste Shipment import shows list of Location Codes for users to select instead of manual input.
• Wrapping in column headers has been corrected.
• Month filter on the Enter Data screen no longer displays the previous period by default when viewing the current year.
• KPI picklist filter screen has been modified to display "Inactive" next to KPIs that are inactive.
  Inactive KPIs will not be automatically selected, but they can be selected manually.
