How to Import a Finding

Access to create findings is required.
Audit findings can be imported as well as manually created.
This article outlines:
1. The Import Process
To import the findings you must have all of the information prepared in a file that can be imported into the system. A template is available for download which will provide all of the required columns that need to be filled in in order to perform the import.
The file must then be saved in one of the following file formats:
File Type | Details |

CSV | A file with values separated by commas. |
XLS | Legacy Microsoft Excel file (versions 97 to 2003) |
XLSX | Microsoft Excel file (from versions 2007 or higher) |
2. How to Download the Import Template
- Click Modules, and then Audit Management.
- Click Manage Audits.
- Search for and open the audit you need to raise the action item on.
- Expand Perform Audit.
- Click the Findings tab.
- Click Import.
- Click the Download Import Template button at the bottom right corner.
3. How to Import Findings
- Open the AuditsFindingsTemplate.xls file that was downloaded from the Findings tab.
- Update each of the rows with the Finding information.
- Return to the Findings tab.
- Click Import.
- Click Browse and then select the file.
- Click Import from File.
Important Note: The Findings will then be imported and any errors will be displayed on screen. Any errors should be corrected and then the file re-imported.
