How to Complete an Action Item

The purpose of audit action items is to improve the effectiveness of an organization's operations, controls, and compliance with laws and regulations.
Action should be carried out and then the action item should be updated with the details of what has taken place.
This article outlines:
1. How to Complete an Action Item
- Click Modules, and then Audit Management.
- Click Manage Audits.
- Search for and open the audit you need to raise the action item on.
- Expand Perform Audit.
- Click the Action Item tab.
- Click on the name of the Action Item.
- Browse to the Complete section.
- Update the Action Item Status to Closed.
- Enter details of the actions taken to address the action item.
- Click Save.
