How to Set the Question Responses
Who is this article for?Ideagen EHS users performing an audit.
Access to questions is required.
Questions can have a variety of responses that can be assigned with different properties available on each response.
This article outlines the options available for responses and also provides the steps on how to set these options.

1. Response Options
The table below outlines the options that can be configured for question responses:
| Title | Details |
|---|---|
| Response | The answers available to the question. |
| Type | Identify if the response is the preferred answer or if it is the non-preferred answer. |
| Score | A score value can be assigned to each response so that it can be aggregated into a total score for the audit. |
| Color | The color coding of each response. |
| Default | If selected then this will be the default response selected when answering a question. |
2. How to Set the Response
- Click Setup, and then Audit Management.
- Click Manage Audit Questions.
- Click on the question.
- Open the Responses tab.
- Set the response values.
- Repeat the process for all fields.
- Click Save.
3. How to Add Additional Responses
By default each question will have three responses however additional options can be assigned via the steps below:
- Click Setup, and then Audit Management.
- Click Manage Audit Questions.
- Click on the question.
- Open the Responses tab.
- Click New.
- Enter the values required.
- Click Save.
4. How to Delete a Response
- Click Setup, and then Audit Management.
- Click Manage Audit Questions.
- Click on the question.
- Open the Responses tab.
- Click the Select for the unwanted response.
- Click Save.
- Click OK to delete.
