Accesss to Behavior Based Safety is required.

The Behavior-Based Safety module allows users to manage and track safe behaviors in a workplace.  Analyzing safe behaviors and observations can be done for each teamwork area. Users can access corporate or facility level dashboards, create and manage work areas, and report observations. In addition, users have the ability to view observation summary data and behavior lists. 

This article outlines how to get started with the Behavior Based Safety Module. 

To make Behavior Based Safety Module easier to learn, this article is split into three sections so that you can either walk through the steps in sequence or you can jump to the section relevant to what you are doing in Ideagen EHS:

1. Accessing the Behavior Based Safety Module

As mentioned above there are a number of tasks that can be completed within the Behaviour Based Safety Module to access these you will need to:

1. Click on the Modules section.
2. Navigate to BBS.
3. You will be able to now see all sections in the Behavior Based Safety Module.

2. How to Access the Behavior Based Safety Dashboards

There are two separate dashboard that can be accessed in the Behavior Based Safety module.  These are the Corporate Dashboard and Facility Dashboard.

The Corporate Dashboard gives users the ability to access performance charts on:

• # of Work Area
• Total Behaviors to Habit Strength
• Behavior Classification by Facility
• Total Statistics by Facility
• BBS Facility Statistics

To access the Corporate Dashboard:

1. Click on Modules
2. Navigate to BBS 
3. Select Corporate Dashboard from the item list
4. From here, you can view the various charts mentioned above.
5. To change the chart view, select the Edit option as shown in the image below.

The Facility Dashboard gives users the ability to view the following facility performance charts:

• Observations By Shift By Week
• Work Area Statistics Comparison
• Average Days to Habit Strength
• Total Behaviors to Habit Strength
• Behavior Classification By Work Area
• Percent Feedback Given
• Statistics By Work Area

To access the Facility Dashboard:

1. Click on Modules
2. Navigate to BBS 
3. Select Corporate Dashboard from the item list
4. From here, you can view the various charts mentioned above.
5. To change the chart view, select the Edit option as shown in the image below.
