An ergonomic assessment is an evaluation of the design and arrangement of a workspace, equipment, tools, and environment to ensure they are optimized for human use. The purpose of an ergonomic assessment is to identify any factors that may cause physical strain, discomfort, or injury to the workers, and to provide recommendations for improvements to minimize or eliminate these risks.

The table below outlines the sections required when creating an ergonomics assessment:
Section | Description |
---|---|
General Details | The ID and a clear and concise title. |
Location Information | Details on the exposure group, tasks involved, etc. |
Analysis | Details of the assessment performed. |
Action Items | Any corrective actions that are needed to address the results of the assessment. |
Assessment Reviews | Review details, including whether the assessment was a pass or a fail. |
2. How to Create a New Ergonomic Assessment
- Click Modules and then Ergonomics.
- Click Create Assessment.
- Complete all the required fields.
- Click Save.
