Document Management Setup Overview
Who is this article for?Ideagen EHS Administrator managing the configuration and look-up values for document management.
Access to Administrative Permissions is required.
Administrators can configure and manage the look-up values for the Document Management module with Module Setup. Module Setup includes configuration and look-values include;
- Ability to move a folder and all associated documents to a different folder hierarchy
- All the associate information and physical files will move as per the new hierarchy
- All document history, approvals, and audit trails will remain with the document
- The option is available both in the Corporate and Location folder setup

How to Access Module Setup
- Click on the Setup Icon.
- Click on the Module Setup Icon.
- Click on the Document management Menu Item.

- Document Folders - are used to organize and access documents.
- Document Types -are used to categorize documents
- Business Process - are used to categorize documents by corporate initiatives
- Document Level Types - are used to categorize the document business process to assign the appropriate document approval workflows
- Approval Workflow - Assigns the approver and/or reviewers to approval documents
- Document Change Source Type - list of reasons for document changes
- Document Priority Types - An assigned priority for documents
- Notification Setup - send automated emails to notify users of edited documents and escalations for approval
