In this article, we delve into new enhancements such as IH employees and Similar Exposure Groups (SEG). Additionally, we explore the setup for IH employees to create sample forms through the App Builder for both passive monitoring and noise monitoring, highlighting the configuration details integral to this enhanced system.
- IH Employees & SEG
- IH Create Sample Forms in App Builder for Passive Monitoring
- IH Create Sample Forms in App Builder for Noise Monitoring
1. IH Employees & SEG
In the existing system, SEGs (Similar Exposure Groups) lack the capability to track employees' entry and exit times, hindering the customer's ability to report on the inclusion of each employee within these groups. Consequently, there is a challenge in meeting regulatory reporting requirements, as all SEG members must be notified of sampling results that could affect them. Furthermore, the current system restricts the association of multiple SEGs to an assessment, sample record, or sample details.
The purpose is to enhance the system by enabling the enrollment and tracking of employees within SEGs, facilitating the utilisation of different reports associated with these groups.
1.1 Configuration Details
- Configurable: No
- Title: NA
- Public/Private: NA
- Default: NA
1.2 Enhanced System
The enhanced system has the following new features:
- Users will gain the capability to utilise SEG for tracking employees' entry and exit times, along with the flexibility to associate multiple SEGs with a single assessment, Sample Records, and Sample Details. Additionally, users will be able to generate various reports for SEG, including:
- Report by Employee on SEG Membership: This report allows users to view the SEGs a specific employee has been a part of over time.
- Report by SEG on Employee Membership: Users can access this report to examine the employees who have been associated with a specific SEG over time.
- Report by Stressor on Employee: For a specific stressor, be it chemical or physical, this report provides a list of employees exposed to that particular stressor (e.g., isopropyl alcohol).
- Report by Stressor on SEG: Users can generate this report to identify SEGs associated with a specific stressor (e.g., isopropyl alcohol).
- Report on SEG by Status - Active/Inactive: This report provides insights into the status of SEGs, distinguishing between those that are active and inactive.
1.3 SEG Reports
Note: This enhancement impacts Reports.
2. IH Create Sample Forms in App Builder for Passive Monitoring
In the existing system, Passive Monitoring Samples are exclusively created through the web application. The purpose behind introducing this capability on mobile devices is to address the limitation of users being unable to create samples in real-time during sample collection for an employee or a Similar Exposure Group, thus enhancing the overall functionality.
2.1 Configuration Details
- Configurable: Yes
- Title: NA
- Public/Private: NA
- Default: NA
2.2 Enhanced System
- A Sample Creation Form in App Builder that will allow the user to capture Passive Monitoring Samples through the App Builder Form over mobile.
- Sample data to be captured through the form and pushed to the IH Module for further access.
- Passive Monitoring - User should be able to enter information to Environmental Condition.
Important: Data saved through App builder cannot be edited in the App Builder. It can be further accessed/edited in IH application only.
Note: This enhancement impacts Mobile.
3. IH Create Sample Forms in App Builder for Noise Monitoring
In the existing system, Noise Monitoring Samples are generated exclusively through the web application. The purpose of this is that users currently face a limitation—they cannot create samples in real-time using a mobile device during sample collection for an employee or a similar exposure group. Therefore, incorporating this functionality into the mobile platform would prove to be advantageous.
3.1 Configuration Details
- Configurable: No
- Title: NA
- Public/Private: NA
- Default: NA
3.2 Enhanced System
- A Sample Creation form in App builder that will allow the user to capture Noise Monitoring
- Samples through the App Builder Form over mobile.
- Sample data to be captured through the form and pushed to the IH Module for further access.
- Noise Monitoring - User should be able to enter information to Controls.
Note: This enhancement impacts Mobile.
Important: Data saved through App builder cannot be edited in the App Builder. It can be further accessed /edited in IH application only.
