Creating a program security audit
Who is this article for?
Users who want to create a program security audit.
No permissions are required.
This article explains how to enable program‑level security when creating an audit program.
The program security feature allows you to restrict access to an audit program to selected users only. These users appear in the list based on the audit management program roles assigned to them. This adds an extra layer of control on top of standard module permissions.
Example: If a user such as John Smith has permission to perform audits but is not selected in the program security list, he will be unable to perform the audit for that specific program.
1. Setting up program level security
- Enable program level security in the Program Details tab when creating an audit program.
- In the Program Details tab, scroll to the Advanced Details section.
- Click the Expand/Collapse button to open the section.
- For the Enable Security field, select Program Level.
- Click Save and Next to continue creating the program, or click Perform Audit to begin the audit.
