Configuring location scope and application permissions to display locations in the navigator

Users who are not able to access any location, whether existing or new.
No specific permissions required.
This article explains why users may be unable to view locations in the location navigator and how an administrator can assign the correct location scope and permissions.
1. Assigning location scope to the user
- Click the Setup icon.
- Click the Security menu item.
- Click the Users menu item.
- Select and edit the user.
- Go to the Scope tab to assign the required location scope, then save the record.
2. Assigning application permission to the user
The first four steps repeat the same navigation as section 1. They are presented again here for clarity.
- Click the Setup icon.
- Click the Security menu item.
- Click the Users menu item.
- Select the user from the list.
- Click the Application Permission tab, assign the required permissions for the selected location, and save.
