Copying a session in Learning Management module
Who is this article for?
Users who want to copy an existing training session.
Permissions required: Access to manage session lists, personal training, or all sessions, plus permission to copy and edit training sessions.
The copy session feature allows users to duplicate an existing training session while ensuring clean data creation and preventing incorrect overdue sessions. When a session is copied, the system opens an editable session details page so users can review and update all fields before saving.
1. Copy a session using the enhanced system
- Navigate to Module and select Learning Management.
Go to Manage Session List.
Note: Copy session is removed from session list and my training to prevent data issues caused by earlier design limitations.
- Select only one session to copy.
- If more than one session is selected, the system displays: “Please select only one session at a time to copy.”
- Click Copy Session.
- The session details page opens with all fields editable, regardless of the original session status.
- Review how each field behaves when the session is copied:
