This guide explains how to resolve issues where a user is unable to open reports in insights.
1. Issue
When a user opens an Insights report, they see a blank page and no report output appears.
This occurs when the user does not have both the module permissions and the insights permissions required for the report. Permissions must match the modules and packages used in the report.
2. Solution
To resolve the issue, follow the steps below.
- Navigate to the application Permissions.
- Go to Module permissions.
- Select the appropriate roles for the modules used in the reports.
- Open the Insight Permissions tab, select the relevant roles, and save your changes.
- Allow up to 24 hours for the data to refresh, then verify that the report opens correctly.
