This article explains how to enable and use the feature that allows users to reference secured internal network documents, web links, or hardcopy references without uploading files directly. This provides flexibility while maintaining data security and supporting organisations with sensitive documentation.

2. Existing system behaviour
- Users can only upload physical documents and cannot add web links or hardcopy references.
- Organisations with secured internal documents cannot reference them without uploading the files.
3. Purpose of the enhancement
- Allow users to reference secured internal network documents using hyperlinks while maintaining security.
- Provide flexibility to add physical uploads, web links, or hardcopy references.
4. Enhanced system behaviour
- When the configuration is enabled, selecting the add button displays an intermediate add document page with three options:
- Upload new document – Opens the browse and upload document screen.
- Create web link reference – Opens the weblink details screen to add internal or external hyperlinks.
- Create hardcopy reference – Opens the document hardcopy details screen to reference physical documents.
- All document types display in the documents list after being added.
