This article explores the enhanced capabilities of the 23.3 risk assessment system, specifically focusing on the flexibility gained in hiding fields independent of the "CustomerFieldControl" custom setting. Providing detailed configuration insights, this article delves into the upgraded system's flexibility, allowing users to seamlessly customise field visibility according to their specific requirements.
1. Hiding Fields Independent of the "CustomerFieldControl" Custom Setting
In the current system, the CustomerFieldControl custom setting manages the display of both the Hazard Details Field in the Hazard Detail screen and the Administrative Controls field in the Risk Rating, then the Existing Controls screen. However, there is no configuration option to show or hide the Administrative Control field in the Proposed Controls section. This results in a lack of flexibility when a customer wants to use only the Administrative Controls field without the Hazard Details field.
To address these issues, the aim is to enhance field configuration flexibility by eliminating the dependency on the CustomerFieldControl custom setting. This involves introducing independent show/hide custom settings for each field, allowing users to tailor configurations according to specific needs, while maintaining consistency across different sections.
