1. Features

1.1. Translation Management Changes

Prior to 24.1, each tag was displayed in a single row. To streamline the localisation process, we wanted the option to update multiple languages to be available in one place.

This enhancement:

• Adds "Static Tags Pro" menu option.
• Displays languages as individual columns.
• Allows their values to be modified from the list view.

1.2. Language Tags Export

Before, there was no option to export tags in a template that could later be used to import updated localization. We wanted to introduce more changes that will help update translations more efficiently.

This enhancement:

• Allows for filtering tags with different conditions:
  • Based on empty tags by single or multiple languages
  • Based on the module and screens
  • Other conditions applied to a string field
• Changes default columns and their usage:
  • "UID" is the Unique ID for each tag and should not be changed.
  • "Field" is the English read-only tag for reference.
  • "Language" are the columns based on the language(s) enabled.
• Gives the option to create custom views for the language(s) required before exporting.

1.3. Language Tags Import

As with the previous enhancement, there was no facilities to import static tags to update localisations in bulk. We wanted to add this as part of the bigger language support update to help manage multiple languages across multiple modules.

This enhancement:

• Introduces the option to import tags in bulk.
• Adds the option to view the mapped information and make changes to the tag.
• Allows users to view import results in the "History".

1.4. Localized Application Management

We received feedback from users that our language offering could be expanded to include additional Indian language support.

This enhancement:

• Adds several languages:
  • Assamese
  • Bengali
  • Hindi
  • Tamil
  • Telugu
  • Kannada
  • Gujarati
  • Marathi
  • Punjabi
  • Odia
  • Malayalam

1.5. Employee Privacy Field Display

In the previous versions, Employee Privacy fields were displayed in the Employee and Supervisor picklists. We wanted to ensure better confidentiality of sensitive data.

This enhancement:

• Removes several columns from the picklist:
  • Employee Sex (Gender)
  • Hire Date
  • Supervisor Name
  • Supervisors Email
  • State of License
  • Date of Expiration
  • License Number
  • Issue Date

1.6. Login Language Preference Display

With our expanding language support, we received requests for better visibility of user preferences for Administrators.

This enhancement:

• Tracks the user's language after successful login.
• Adds a "Language" column to the User Application Access Report.

1.7. Escalation Setup Changes

Currently, an Action item escalation cannot be created for Supervisors (and above), as the "Notify User(s)" selection is mandatory. We wanted to remove this hurdle to make sure the process goes smoothly.

This enhancement:

• Removes the mandatory selection of "Notify User(s)".
• Adds validation to select one of the available options:
  • Notify Owner(s)
  • Notify Supervisor
  • Notify Supervisor's Supervisor
  • Notify Group(s)
  • Notify User(s)
