Who is this article for?Users who want to learn more about changes in version 25.1.
No elevated access or permissions are required.
This article outlines feature changes, enhancements, and fixes introduced with this update.
1. Features
1.1. Autosave in Report New Incident screen
Previously, there was no autosave feature available on the Incident screen, leading to loss of work if a session timeout triggered.
To save user time and effort, we introduced an autosave trigger when the session becomes idle and is about to time out.
This feature will only trigger if the user has sufficient Create or Edit permissions, and has filled out mandatory fields required for the record to save.
Validations on autosave are the same as ones done on manual save, except:
- Action Item section answered as 'Yes':
- If Action Item Title or Action Taken is blank, this will be auto-populated with 'Completed at time of reporting (Auto Saved)'.
- If Primary Owner is blank, this will be auto-populated with the logged in user.
- Case Severity Section answered as 'Yes':
- If any mandatory fields in this section are blank or if Detail Report complete business rule fails, the section is saved as 'No'.
- Witness or Injured Party count (Vehicle Incident) doesn't match information provided:
- Number selected will be updated as per number of information sets provided.
There are no changes to the manual save feature.
1.2. Move Incident feature enhancements
Previously, the new move Incident feature didn't allow for non-US Incidents, or Incidents created through the App Builder integration, to be moved.
To improve the user experience, we extended this feature to allow:
- Incidents from non-US locations to be moved to a different location within the same country.
- Incidents created using the App Builder integration to be moved.
Related App Builder will not move to the new location.
1.3. Investigation UI/UX improvements
Previously, you fed back that the Contributing Factor and 5 Why user interface doesn't provide an optimal experience.
To make it more intuitive, we enhanced various visuals of the screen.
You can see the new experience in our walkthrough video below.
